It was such a treat to be a part of this event. Watching this makes me a little sad that it's over and I don't get to do it every year. Amazing event. Amazing Surfing. Amazing city. Absolutely loved it.

Hosting the Rip Curl Pro Search at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, CA could be the worst call any company has ever made in terms of where to hold an ASP World Tour event.
Or...
It could be the best.
As usual, only time will tell.
Or...
It could be the best.
As usual, only time will tell.
However, a few things are for sure: The best surfers on the planet are on hand, we're in one of the world's best cities, the current is gnarly, it's an extremely difficult place to shoot alluring photos, and Kelly's going to seize his 11th title.
A few things are not: The fog, the sandbars, the wind, the swell, and the weather conditions in the next 10 minutes.
The bottom line is, if Mother Nature delivers a solid swell and the winds go offshore, we're about to see one hell of an event.
